For the second straight year, No. 14 Indiana rowing will compete in the NCAA Rowing Championship. The competition takes place May 31-June 2 in East Fork State Park in Bethel, Ohio.

Indiana enters the competition finishing as the runner-up in the Big Ten Championships, behind Michigan. The Hoosiers’ head coach Steve Peterson earned Big Ten Coach of the Year honors for the second consecutive year.

Indiana’s Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight groups are the No. 12-seeded teams, while its Varsity Four boat is ranked No. 14. The Hoosiers finished last season No. 17 nationally.

The Varsity Eight won silver at the 2024 Big Ten Championships for the second straight season while earning a 23-7 record on the year.

Big Ten Freshman of the Year Nico Daly will headline the group Friday, alongside first-team All-Big Ten senior Piper Maaka, second-team All-Big Ten senior Abbey Armstrong and second-team All-Big Ten graduate transfer Annabel Oertel.

The first race for Indiana begins at 10:24 a.m. EDT Friday followed by races at 11:12 a.m. and 11:48 a.m. All action can be streamed at NCAA.com.
