Indiana football head coach Curt Cignetti continued rounding out his first roster in Bloomington with another addition Thursday.

The Hoosiers landed a commitment from Anderson University transfer linebacker Ebon Person, who made the announcement via X, formally known as Twitter.

Listed by Anderson as 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Person hails from Fort Wayne, Indiana, and attended Wayne High School, where he played as a safety. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

As a true freshman in 2022, Person made 15 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss in nine games at the Division III level. He followed suit with 38 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss and a sack across nine contests in 2023, playing in a hybrid linebacker/edge rusher role.

Person first announced his entry to the transfer portal in the middle of November and reported several offers from Division III and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) schools, including Marian University, Waldorf University and the University of Saint Francis (Fort Wayne), among others. He also received an offer from Division II institution West Virginia Wesleyan College.
