The CVS located at 510 South College Mall Rd. will close permanently at 2:00 p.m., May 8.
CVS officials have not disclosed why this location will close.
Customers’ prescriptions will automatically transfer to the nearby 24-hour East Third Street location. Patients who would like their orders to be moved to a different pharmacy should contact the store before its closing.
The College Mall store is one of three CVS locations within a one-mile radius. In addition to the East Third Street location, the pharmacy chain also has a branch inside Target.
Some merchandise, like food and cosmetics, will be sold for a reduced price while operations wind down.
