Continuing Indiana’s successful showing in the field events, the men swept the pole vault. Graduate student Nathan Stone won, clearing 5.38 meters, junior Tyler Carrel finished second with a new personal best height of 5.23 meters and junior Riley Johnston cleared 5.08 meters to earn third place.

In the women’s 3,000-meter run, sophomore Tori Schmidt finished in 9:53.22 and graduate student Emma Everhart-Deckard in 9:54.97, earning them both new personal bests. They finished fifth and sixth, respectively.

In the men’s distance medley relay, sophomore Keefer Soehngen, junior Camden Marshall and graduate students Austin Haskett and Antonio Laidler teamed up to finish fifth in 9:23.41. This earned them the program’s third-fasted DMR time in history.

Indiana closed out the regular season with four new indoor school records with the potential to build on these marks come outdoor meets.

The Hoosiers will travel to Geneva, Ohio, for the Big Ten Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday where they will compete for the opportunity to advance to the Indoor National Championships.
