Indiana women’s basketball fifth-year senior guard Sara Scalia recieved Big Ten Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced Monday.

The Hoosiers went 2-0 at the 2023 Elevance Health Women’s Fort Myers Tip-Off thanks in large part to Scalia’s brilliant 28 point showing against Princeton University on Nov. 25.

The Stillwater, Minnesota, native went 10-of-17 from the field and five-of-nine from 3-point range against the Tigers. Scalia also scored 10 points against then-No. 19 University of Tennessee on Nov. 23, going four-of-10 from the field and two-of-four from beyond the arc.

Indiana now sets its sights toward a matchup with the University of Maine at 7 p.m. Thursday. The contest will take place at Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine, and will be streamed on ESPN+.
