The Indiana University Police Department received a report of a rape Tuesday which was said to have occurred between 1-3 a.m. Sept. 3 at Teter Quad.

IUPD Public Information Officer Hannah Skibba said in an email IUPD responded to Teter Quad on Tuesday to speak with an IU student about the reported incident.

Skibba said the person who reported the incident stated that another IU student had shown up to their dorm while under the influence of alcohol, then forced the reporting person to have sex with them, causing an injury. A confidential victim advocate also responded to the scene to provide resources and support, Skibba said.

The IUPD crime log also lists a report of illegal consumption/possession of alcohol by a minor in this case. The case is still under investigation.
