Indiana track and field's final competitor at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, junior Noah Koch, placed 21st in men's discus. Friday's events closed out the men's competitions.

Koch threw for a best mark of 55.40 meters, which didn't qualify past the event's third round. This is Koch's first appearance at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The junior qualified in May after a 4th place finish in the NCAA East Preliminary Round, where Koch marked a new career-best of 58.70 meters.

Turner Washington, a senior from Arizona State University, took the gold in this year's discus finals with the best mark of 66.22 meters.

Indiana's five athletes have finished their events, but the final day of the women's events begins 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Mike A. Myers Stadium and Soccer Field. The championships will air on ESPN+.
