Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift Night, a Swiftie-centric DJ tour, is coming to Bloomington at 9 p.m. on Friday at the Bluebird.

The party series aims to bring all the fun, poppy elements of Swift’s music to the forefront — creating a space for fans to geek out together. According to their website, the parties began in December of 2021 and haven’t stopped since.

Swift has been a central focus of pop music for years. She recently made history with seven of her albums in the same top-40 chart, making her the third artist to have done so since 1963. She has transcended genre with no. 1 hits in country, pop and alternative charts. Swift has an incredible list of awards, boasting 12 Grammy Awards, 12 Country Music Association Awards, 14 MTV Video Music Awards and 92 Guiness World Records.

Her fanbase has supported her through all the genre changes and award shows, even gaining the title of the longest and best relationship Swift’s ever had in an award show acceptance speech in 2013. Fans have seen her laugh, cry, sing and scream through the years and loved the whole journey.

Swift is currently on her Eras stadium tour, spanning five months and 20 cities. The ticket release caused a crisis for Ticketmaster, eventually leading to a hearing in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee who loved making Swift-related puns

If Eras tickets are way out of your price range, Taylor Swift Night might be the show for you. Tickets are just $20 for this sure to be electric night.
