Indiana women’s basketball was selected as a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament during Sunday’s NCAA Women’s Selection Special. The Hoosiers are the No. 2 overall seed, giving them geographical preference in the Greenville, South Carolina, region.

Indiana will face the winner of No. 16 seeds Tennessee Tech University and Monmouth University in the first round of the Greenville Regional and will host its first and potential second game on Saturday and Monday in Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Should Indiana win its first round game, it would face the winner of No. 8 seed Oklahoma State University and No. 9 seed University of Miami on Monday.
