Senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis drives to the basket Feb. 18, 2023 at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana.

Senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis will not return to Indiana men’s basketball next season, foregoing his year of COVID-19 eligibility, he told Stadium in an exclusive interview Saturday.

Jackson-Davis said he will be going through Indiana’s senior night festivities against Michigan on March 5.

“Sometimes, you’ve got to move on,” Jackson-Davis said. “I’m grateful for my time here, but I’ll say the rest during senior night.”

Jackson-Davis will graduate from Indiana as one of the program’s best performers. This season, he set the program block record on Jan. 25 against Minnesota and moved into third place on the program's rebounding list Feb. 7 against Rutgers. His latest record came against Illinois on Saturday when he passed head coach Mike Woodson to move into fifth place in scoring in Indiana history.

Jackson-Davis will likely declare for the NBA Draft after the season, where he is projected to be selected in the second round
