Bomb threat reported at IU Health Sciences Building in July, no explosive found

The IU Police Department received a report of a bomb threat for the Health Sciences Building on July 29. 

Officers responded to the scene and completed a search using IUPD’s explosive detection K-9, IUPD Chief Deputy Shannon Bunger said in an email. No bomb or any other explosive device was found.  

Currently, IUPD does not know who called in the threat. The case is listed as open, according to the IUPD crime log.
