IU Mobile app update includes dark mode, various accessibility fixes

The Dec. 13, 2021, IU Mobile app update fixes various accessibility issues and allows users to choose between light and dark mode screens, according to IU Mobile’s app store page.

The IU Mobile app provides multiple services to help users “adjust to life as a student,” according to the app’s website. Features of the app include maps of campus, a CrimsonCard portal and information about class schedules. The app also allows users to access websites like Zoom, Canvas and Kaltura, according to the website.

The app launched in April 2020 to help students adjust to online learning at the onset of the pandemic, six months ahead of its planned fall 2020 release, according to a News at IU article. The app is available on the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
