November 2019 rape, September sexual assault reported

A rape reportedly occurred at Johnston Hall in Ashton Center on Nov. 8, 2019, according to the IU Police Department crime log.

Additionally, a sexual assault reportedly occurred at Phi Kappa Tau in September, according to the IUPD crime log.

Phi Kappa Tau was placed on cease and desist, effective Nov. 11, according to an Indiana Daily Student article.

Both are listed as open cases.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this story misstated the year when the rape at Johnston Hall in Ashton Center occurred.
