The IU Police Department reported Tuesday that a man allegedly sexually assaulted another person just after midnight Saturday in an on-campus residence hall, according to an IU-Notify.
IUPD said the suspect is neither an IU student nor a Bloomington resident, but he frequents the area and is known to the victim and police.
The investigation is ongoing. IUPD asks anyone with information to call 812-855-4111.
