IU women’s basketball game against Butler University was canceled Thursday afternoon due to a rise in COVID-19 cases within Butler’s program, according to a press release from Butler Athletics.
The Hoosiers were originally scheduled to play the Bulldogs on Dec. 13 at 5 p.m. However, after the game was moved to Dec. 12 earlier on Thursday, the game was ultimately canceled.
IU women’s basketball is actively looking for another opponent to play Saturday, according to IU Athletics.
Butler Athletics anticipates returning to play by Dec. 22, according to the press release.
