Three shots were fired into the air Tuesday night on the 2400 block of South Winslow Court, Bloomington Police Department Sergeant David Alley said.
There were no visible injuries, Alley said. Police were still searching for the suspect as of 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, BPD Captain Ryan Pedigo said.
Police were called to South Winslow Court near Henderson Court Apartments around 10 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a call reporting multiple gunshots heard, Alley said. A second officer received a call about a disturbance and a male leaving the area.
The first officer attempted to catch up to the suspect, but he fled.
Police have a description of the suspect and are watching three vehicles to which the suspect has access.
