The event “Jawing with Richard Dreyfuss,” scheduled for 7:30 p.m. March 7 at the IU Auditorium, has been canceled due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.
Presented by J&S Promotions, Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Richard Dreyfuss was set to speak on his lengthy career in the film industry. The talk was to be followed by a screening of his role as Matt Hooper in the film “Jaws.”
General admission tickets for the event were $39 and $149 for VIP tickets. The VIP experience included priority seating, a catered VIP meet and greet reception, a photo op with Dreyfuss and an autographed “Jaws” movie poster.
The IU Auditorium said in a press release fans who have purchased tickets will be fully refunded through their original method of payment in three to five business days.
