Bloomington Transit is altering its schedule for campus routes during IU’s spring break, according to a Bloomington Transit press release.

Route 7, the Henderson and Walnut express, will be out of service March 9 through March 17. This route covers 3rd Street, College Avenue, Walnut Street and Henderson Street.

Route 6, the campus shuttle, will use a different schedule March 10 through March 16. Route 6 limited will be out of service March 9 through March 17.

Route 9 will also be using a different schedule. Route 9 limited will not operate March 9 through March 17.

All other routes will operate on normal schedule. However, all Bloomington Transit routes will end at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10 and Saturday, March 16.

Eli McCormick, customer service manager at Bloomington Transit, said bus schedules are usually altered over school breaks.

“We see a lot less students, so we limit the services so we don’t have as many empty buses driving around,” McCormick said.
