A rape that allegedly occurred March 16 at Forest Quadrangle was reported around 1:45 p.m. Monday.
The 19-year-old student alleged she was raped by a 20-year-old she knew, IU Police Department Capt. Craig Munroe said.
Munroe said an IU-Notify alert wasn’t sent out because of the long period of time between when the incident was said to happen and the reporting. Unlike the rape that was reported early March 24 at Eigenmann Hall, police have a suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
