Maria Bamford comes to The Comedy Attic

Maria Bamford stars in Netflix's "Lady Dynamite," a show about a fictionalized version of herself. Bamford will perform Nov.16-18 at the Comedy Attic.

Maria Bamford, star of the Netflix comedy series "Lady Dynamite,"  is performing at the Comedy Attic on Nov. 16 through Nov. 18. All five of her performances are already sold out. 

The comedian created and starred in "Maria Bamford: the special special special" as well as "The Maria Bamford Show," which is a cult web series that screened at the Museum of Art and Design, according to the Comedy Attic website.

On animated shows like "BoJack Horseman," "Adventure Times," "Legend of Korra," "Puss in Boots" and "Word Girl," Bamford has voiced different characters, according to the Comedy Attic website. 

Bamford also takes the title as the first female comedian to have two half-hour "Comedy Central Presents" specials. Bamford has starred in Netflix's "Comedians of Comedy: The Movie," as well as the Comedy Central series "The Comedians of Comedy." 

"Lady Dynamite" was created by Mitch Hurwitz, producer and writer of "Arrested Development," and Pam Brady, writer of "South Park." The show has been listed as a must-see show of 2016 by Variety and Rolling Stone and has also been claimed "revelatory" by Entertainment Weekly, according to the Comedy Attic website.
