Bloomington police are investigating after three male Fairview Elementary School students were found with marijuana Wednesday afternoon on school grounds.

Two of the boys are 10-years-old while the other is 11.

The school's principal found three small plastic bags of marijuana in the students' socks.

One of the boys told police he found the marijuana near a bus stop by the school on 11th Street, but the other two students said the the marijuana was from the first boy's home.

Bloomington police referred the children to juvenile probation, and the Department of Children's Services is investigating the incident.
