IU junior guard James Blackmon Jr. and sophomore center Thomas Bryant were named to the All-Big Ten third team on Monday, the Big Ten announced. Both were part of the 10-player preseason All-Big Ten team.

Bryant was selected to the third team by both Big Ten coaches and the media. He averaged 13.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game in conference play this season. He also received this honor as a freshman in 2016.

Blackmon was selected to the third team by the Big Ten coaches, but he was only an honorable mention by the media. He led the Hoosiers in scoring with 16.5 points per game in conference play, which was good for sixth in the Big Ten. He was also an honorable mention after his freshman season in 2015.
