A hit-and-run on Sunday resulted in one driver being taken to the hospital, the driver and passenger of another car fleeing the scene, and four damaged vehicles. Bloomington Police are still investigating and searching for those who fled.

At about 1 a.m. Sunday, a white Chrysler Sebring was driving north on Lincoln Street and ran a stop sign at 10th Street.

The vehicle crashed into a green Honda Sedan on 10th Street. Rodrigo Casas, 26, was taken to the hospital after being hit on the driver’s side.

The Honda was then pushed into two parked cars, BPD Lt. Brad Seifers said.

Police are still searching for the driver of the Chrysler, who they believe fled on foot.

Casas was taken to the Bloomington Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident. His condition is currently unknown.
