Allison Head, 58, was arrested Saturday for attempting to sell drugs to an 11-year-old girl.
The mother of the child called the Bloomington Police Department and said that a white female with dark hair had grabbed her daughter in the parking lot of the apartment complex near 3100 S. Walnut St. Pike at approximately 1:45 p.m. and allegedly attempted to sell the girl Xanax.
A witness confirmed that Head grabbed the girl’s right arm and tried to force her to buy the drugs.
When police found Head, she said that it was a misunderstanding with the girl but later admitted to both grabbing the girl and attempting to sell her “xannies.”
Head is now in custody and has been charged with a level six felony of battery, due to the minor involved, and with dealing in a Schedule IV drug.
