Bloomington Pride announced a vigil will be put on from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall for the victims of the Orlando shooting.
The candlelight vigil will recognize all the victims and families affected by the tragedy. Candles will be provided by the Unitarian Universalist Church, according to the Bloomington Pride Facebook page.
Additionally, the Back Door is planning a fundraising event for Pulse, the nightclub where the shooting took place. The event will be an open stage with performances from comedy to poetry.
The stage will open at 10 p.m. and a dance party will follow.
