Bloomington Blotter: Round-Up of Odd Crimes

From a bizarre public intoxication and nudity arrest to several boats being stolen, a few odd and unexpected crimes were reported to the Bloomington Police Department this week. All of the following accounts were collected from BPD:

They See Me Rollin’

A theft was reported Saturday when a woman called police after a Power Wheels toy was stolen from her fenced-in yard.

Sailing Away

A City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation employee reported Monday two fiberglass canoes, one aluminum john boat and a boat chain were stolen from Griffy Lake.

Naked and Arraign

A 20-year-old man was charged for resisting law enforcement, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and public nudity after causing more than $3,000 of damage to B-Town International Market on Sunday night.
