From a throwback theft to a failure of gnome-land security, a few odd and unexpected crimes were reported to the Bloomington Police Department this week. All of the following accounts were collected from BPD:
Retro robbery
A woman reported Wednesday her fanny pack, including her iPod Touch, driver’s license, two credit cards and one debit card, was stolen.
Green thumbs, sticky fingers
It was reported Saturday 12 garden posts were stolen from the community garden plot. The case is inactive.
No angel
A Victoria’s Secret employee reported Friday a rack of “body” label clothing was stolen. Police are looking into pulling footage to further the investigation.
