Two More Hoosiers Qualify for World Championships

IU freshman Jessica Parratto and 2013 IU graduate Amy Cozad competed in the USA Diving Synchro National Championships on Saturday where they qualified for this year’s 2015 FINA World Championships.

The Parratto and Cozad duo posted a score of 612.30, which proved to be good enough for a first-place finish and a chance to compete in the World Championships.

Other Hoosiers who will compete in the World Championships are sophomore Michael Hixon, freshman Kennedy Goss and 2014 graduate Cody Miller. Goss will compete for Canada, but the other four Hoosiers will all be in Team USA uniforms.

The World Championships start July 24 in Kazan, Russia.
