Possible arson in Bloomington

The Bloomington Police Department received a report of a vehicle fire and possible arson around 1:55 a.m. Sunday on the 800 block of South Park Square Drive, Sgt. Joe Crider said. The BPD and the Bloomington Fire Department responded to the scene, where a 2000 black Chevy Tahoe was parked in a driveway and ?engulfed in flames.

The BPD contacted the vehicle’s owner, who said he had last seen it around 9:30 a.m. Saturday when he left his home. The vehicle was towed for further arson investigation.
