Cacio e pepe
This traditional Italian dish, translated into English as cheese and pepper, is an easy five-minute recipe. Similar to macaroni and cheese in texture and flavor, this is a go to recipe for those that don’t have much time or experience cooking, but want something completely homemade.
Ingredients:
? Medium sized handful of spaghetti or thin linguini. Should be about a cup of cooked pasta
? 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
? ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
? 1 egg, optional
Step 1: Cook the pasta until it is tender and doesn’t have a crunch.
Step 2: Add the last three ingredients, mix well.
