Booker, a 6-foot, 180-pound three-star running back/cornerback from Grayslake, Ill., announced his decision on Twitter shortly after IU’s 45-23 loss to Rutgers.
“I am decommitting from Indiana University and am committing to The University of Wisconsin,” Booker’s Tweet reads. “In the recruiting process you have to do what’s best for you, and I feel like this is the right move for me.”
Booker could have added more depth and speed as either cornerback or running back for IU. His 40-yard dash time has been clocked at 4.4 seconds, according to rivals.com.
He was ranked the 24th-best prospect in the state of Illinois and the 74th-best running back in the country by 247Sports .
Booker becomes the second 2015 commit to flip to a rival Big Ten school in less than a week. Decatur Central quarterback Tommy Stevens flipped from IU to Penn State last Monday.
