IU women's basketball adds recruit

IU women’s basketball Coach Teri Moren landed the second frontcourt addition to the 2015 recruiting class Wednesday.

Danielle Williams, a three-star prospect from North Crawley high school in Fort Worth, Texas, joins Ohio forward Kym Royster in Moren’s first IU recruiting class.

Williams, a 6-foot-4 post player, will add size to a guard-heavy Hoosier roster. The roster will have a projected nine guards and six frontcourt players next year, which includes both commits from the 2015 class.

She also adds depth to the center position, which is a spot that the Hoosiers are thin in this year. Sophomore Jenn Anderson, listed at 6-feet-3-inches, is the only center and the tallest player listed on the 2014-2015 roster.

The Hoosiers tip off the season Nov. 9 against the University of Indianapolis at Assembly Hall.
