IUPD has been made aware of an armed robbery reported today on the edge of the IU campus, at the Convenient Mart on the corner of 17th Street and Dunn Street, according to a campus crime alert.
The robbery allegedly occurred at approximately 3:34 p.m. today.
The suspect displayed a black handgun and fled the scene northwest on foot.
The suspect is a white male around 5 foot 7 inches in height and in his early 20s. He was wearing a black zip up sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, and black and red tennis shoes according to the crime alert.
