Sexual misconduct reported to police

An 18-year-old woman told Bloomington police that she had been intimate with a 21-year-old man when she was 14 continuing for at least three years.

Sexual misconduct with a minor is considered a class B felony if the suspect is at least 21 years old, according to state law.

The Bloomington Police Department received the report Sunday night, BPD Sgt. Joe Crider said.

The relationship continued through June 2013 ending when the woman was 17 years old making the man at least 24 years old at the time.
