A winter storm warning has been issued for central Indiana as of 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The warning is in effect until 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service predicts 3 to 8 inches of snow and sleet with 1 to 2 tenths of an inch of ice possible.
A winter storm warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice are expected or occurring. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible, according to the National Weather Service.
