A 27-year-old Bloomington man was arrested after reportedly choking a 34-year-old woman Sunday.
Joshua Rockey, 27, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery, strangulation and confinement.
Bloomington Police Department officers responded to a physical disturbance at about 5 p.m. in the 4400 block of West Heatherwood Lane, BPD Sgt. Jeff Canada said.
Rockey reportedly choked the victim, pulled her hair and blocked her from leaving the residence.
The victim went to a neighbor’s residence where she called police, Canada said.
The victim had bruises and abrasions around her neck.
