Voyage named No. 1 wooden coaster

The Voyage at Holiday World was recently named the country’s best wooden roller coaster by TIME magazine.

“TIME’s list is pretty impressive, and we’re honored to see our Voyage is the topped-ranked wooden coaster,” Holiday World President Matt Eckert said in a press release.

The article, which utilizes data from the research website FindTheBest.com, honors the Voyage as the No. 5 roller coaster overall in the nation.

“Looking through the top 10 list, we couldn’t help but notice that we’re the only family-owned park represented,” Eckert said. “We’re proud to prove that building incredible roller coasters isn’t limited to just the corporate parks.”
