A number of electronics were stolen from a Varsity Lane apartment early Thursday morning while the occupant was at work, a Bloomington Police Department spokesperson said.
The victim, whose two roommates were out of town, left for work at approximately 3:45 a.m. and returned to her apartment on the 200 block of Varsity Lane shortly before 10 a.m. Upon her return, the front door was unlocked and a glass screen door had been left open.
The woman noticed a number of items missing from the living room, including a flat screen television, a router, a DVD player and a video game console.
In her own room, a laptop and XM radio were both missing. Neither of her roommate's rooms appeared to have anything missing.
She later called the police, who noticed fresh pry marks on the front door indicative of forced entry.
The case is still active.
