WonderLab earns TripAdvisor distinction

WonderLab

The WonderLab Museum of Science, Health and Technology announced it has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award.

The award honors hospitality excellence, which is only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on the TripAdvisor website. This can also be extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.

Only the top-performing 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

According to a press release issued by WonderLab, to qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

WonderLab is currently listed as the second-most popular Bloomington attraction after IU on TripAdvisor.

“WonderLab is very pleased to receive a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence,” said Louise Schlesinger, WonderLab’s marketing director. “We work hard to offer visitors a memorable experience and contribute to Bloomington’s reputation as a fabulous destination.”

WonderLab is a hands-on science museum and family attraction located on West Fourth Street near the B-Line Trail in the heart of the downtown Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD).

The special exhibition “Construction Junction: The Science of Building” just opened at the museum and is available through Sept. 29.
