A female student reported being assaulted at knife point by a then-boyfriend between 2:30 and 3 a.m. March 22.
The assault occurred at the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at 720 E. Third St., and the assaulter was not an IU student, IU Police Department Lt. William Munroe said.
The female told police the two were having an argument when the male started to tear up the room, breaking glass bottles and a plasma TV.
“He made a superficial cut on his chest in the shape of an X and then put a superficial cut on her left thigh,” Munroe said.
He then allegedly cut the neckline of her dress.
The female is not pursuing any charges at this time.
The case is currently active according to police documents.
