The Kelley School of Business announced its new Supply Chain Alliance, a series of partnerships that will create opportunities for students interested in careers in supply chain management, according to a press release issued Wednesday.
Companies such as Target Distribution, Cook Medical and FedEx Solutions are among the nearly 20 companies with which the Kelley School formed partnerships.
“The Supply Chain Alliance was established to serve the interests of our students, faculty and external corporate partners by providing thought leadership, research opportunities, teaching materials and programs in this business segment,” Interim Dean Idalene Kesner said in the release.
The partnerships will provide member companies the opportunity to exchange ideas about supply chain management practices and will also attract students to careers in the field, according to the release.
