Kelley alumnus Mark Cuban to speak Nov. 16

Mark Cuban, IU alumnus and owner of the Dallas Mavericks, will visit IU Nov. 16 in the Indiana Memorial Union Whittenberger Auditorium.

“A Conversation with Mark Cuban” will begin at 1:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

According to a press release, the School of Informatics and Computing and the school’s Building Entrepreneurs in Software and Technology competition, also known as BEST, are organizing the talk.

After Cuban delivers his opening remarks, he will be available for questions from the audience, according to the press release.

Cuban graduated from the Kelley School of Business in 1981.

“Having Mark come back to Bloomington in support of the student entrepreneurship that BEST is designed to support is a wonderful opportunity for this still-young program,” Informatics Dean Bobby Schnabel said in the press release. “We’re thrilled to have him visit, to have him share his ideas and thoughts withh the community and to welcome him to the BEST investor family.”
