Woman reports being threatened outside Buskirk-Chumley

Bloomington police are looking for a man who reportedly threatened a woman in front of the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.

The woman reported to police she was threatened by a black male after he approached her sometime before 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Bloomington Police Lt. Bill Parker said.

“You’re lucky some black person hasn’t stuck a knife in your gut,” the man reportedly said.

Parker said police believe the man is homeless.

The man took no further action and has not yet been located by police.
