University to celebrate Homecoming with events

Nearly Naked Mile
Registration  will begin at 6:30 p.m. today at Dunn Meadow. The race begins at 8 p.m. Donations will go to the United Way of Monroe County. Register at myiuaa.com/nearly-naked-mile. After-parties will start at 8:30 p.m. at Kilroy’s on Kirkwood, BuffaLouie’s, Campus Candy and Jimmy John’s.

Spirit Day
The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at 10th Street and Fee Lane, the clock outside the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center and Ballantine Hall. Prizes will be awarded to students who show school spirit.

Spirit Day Blood Drive

This event is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the DeVault Alumni Center.

Ultimate Hoosier

This event is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Dunn Meadow and is organized by the IU Student Foundation.

IU’s Got Talent
The talent show is from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. The show will include 12 student acts and three guest acts by Another Round, Ladies First and In Motion Dance Team. There is no cost to attend.

Lights, Camera, Action! Alumni Career Panel
Four alumni will discuss their journeys from IU to show business at 7 p.m. Thursday in Fine Arts 15.

Student Alumni Association and Union Board Presents: South Jordan

The concert will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday in Dunn Meadow. B97’s Zach Majors will open for South Jordan. The concert is free and food will be available at the event.

Hoosier Village
From 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Memorial Stadium, alumni are invited to tailgate before the football game.
