Student reports rape early Friday morning

A female IU student reported being raped some time between 1 to 11:45 a.m. Friday.

The IU Police Department was notified of the alleged rape at 7:19 p.m. Friday.

The alleged victim was at several parties Thursday night and early Friday morning, including a fraternity party, IUPD Chief Keith Cash said.

Because she was at multiple locations, police are still uncertain where the alleged rape took place.

Cash said IUPD is re-interviewing the alleged victim and witnesses.
