Student reports possible drugging at fraternity party

A female IU student reported possibly being drugged at a fraternity party between 12:15 to 2:15 a.m. Saturday.

IU Police Department Chief Keith Cash said the victim didn’t remember parts of the night and thought she may have been drugged in some way.

The incident was reported to IUPD at 8:35 p.m. Saturday.

IU Health Bloomington Hospital is running drug tests.

IUPD classified the case as an assault with a “dangerous weapon” because of drugs possibly being involved, Cash said.
