Tight end Danny Friend becomes fourth IU football 2013 commit

Indiana University football landed its fourth commitment to its 2013 class on Thursday, giving the program a pair of highly rated tight ends for next fall.

Tight end Danny Friend, a three-star prospect from Morris (Ill.) Community High School, confirmed his commitment to IU Friday morning, Zach Osterman of Inside Indiana reports.

Friend becomes the second tight end to join the 2013 class, after Evan Jansen committed July 3.

Both players are rated as 85 overall by Inside Indiana, making them the highest rated players in the class.
