Four female students, all 19 or 20, reported that they were assaulted Friday between 4 and 4:45 a.m. on Jordan Avenue between Seventh and 10th streets.
Each told police an unknown male allegedly grabbed their breasts from behind. All of the incidents were separate, but police are currently searching for one suspect, IU Police Chief Keith Cash said.
One woman described the suspect as a white, college-aged man with dark, curly-brown hair. She said he was wearing a red long-sleeved shirt and jeans when he assaulted her.
Cash said the case is currently being investigated, and officers are patrolling the area more than usual. He also said police hope to have a composite sketch by the beginning of the week.
Cash encouraged anyone with information about these cases to contact the police department at 812-855-4111.
