Police investigate possible exploitation at elementary school

A female student, 8, at Arlington Heights Elementary School reported a possible case of child pornography or exploitation, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Bill Parker said.

The student told police that a male student, 7, has been showing other students photos on his phone on the school bus. One, she said, shows a child naked from behind, Parker said.

The male student did not have his phone when police spoke with him, but he denied he has such photos on his phone, Parker said.

Detective Chris Guidry has been assigned to the case and will continue investigation, starting with the contents of the phone.
