Indy man arrested at Target for trespass, indecency

Staff at the Target in College Mall called Bloomington police Sunday.

The call came after a series of incidents the store’s security staff had been investigating since last year, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Steve Kellams said.

Indianapolis resident Edward Uhles, 79, had entered Target on Feb. 27 and Nov. 11, 2011, Kellams said.

During the visit to the Target store in February, Uhles had allegedly exposed himself to customers within the store.

Uhles has previously been thrown out of Target several times for trespass and indecent exposure, Kellams said.

This time, however, staff called police before Uhles had been in the store long.
Uhles was arrested for trespass.

However, he could be charged with three counts of trespass.

He may also be charged with one count of indecent exposure from February, Kellams said.

Police have security tapes from the store as evidence.
